Interesting World Cat Resource Sharing Data

From Tony Melvyn at OCLC:

Today OCLC has published some fascinating and useful data that is viewable at the OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing web site.

http://www.oclc.org/us/en/resourcesharing/statistics/default.htm

The top serials and monographs requested on OCLC. While we display the top 10 in each category you can view the top 1,000 in a downloadablespreadsheet.

The top “Reasons for Saying NO” which is actually all the reasons for saying NO. OCLC continues to encourage member libraries to supply Reason for Saying No.

Have any suggestions for other data you would like to see OCLC publish?

Send us your suggestions.
