C-Car Volume Study Postponed until December 10

From Steve:

ConnecticarWe’ve decided to postpone the Ccar volume study until the week of December 10, i.e. Monday, December 10 to Friday, December 14.

Thanks to attendees at the CLC ILL Roundtable East meeting yesterday and a couple of e-mail messages alerting me to the fact, I’ve discovered that the LION consortium will be upgrading their ILS next Tuesday and their system will be down for at least part of the day. This means that LION libraries will not be processing ‘transit holds’ which may skew Ccar volume. We want to make sure that our data sample reflects normal Ccar volume, so we are going to hold off on collecting data until the week of December 10.

I’ll send details and instructions for the study by the middle of next week.

Thank you for your patience concerning these postponements.

Regards,
Steve
