Connecticar 101 class offered by CT State Library

Good morning everyone,

What: Connecticar 101
When: Thursday, June 13, registration/networking at 9:30, meeting begins at 10, ends approximately noon
Where: Van Block Facility, 75 Van Block Avenue, Hartford

I’m offering a class on Connecticar (Ccar). At the session, I’ll show the Ccar resources we have on WebJunction, review Ccar guidelines and procedures, then talk about proper packaging for Ccar materials. Walt will give us a tour of Ccar sorting area at the end of the meeting. The sorting for the B routes takes place at Van Block – that’s why I’m holding the session at this location.

This session is free and all are welcome to attend. New library staff members whose job includes using Ccar are encouraged to attend.

You can register for the class using the State Library’s Continuing Education calendar. To do so, go to :
Navigate to June 13, click the title of the session, and a page will open with the details. If you scroll down, you’ll see the area where you can input your name and contact information. Click “Complete Registration” and you’ll be registered for the class.
