deliverIT CT Service Update

From Dawn LaValle:deliverIT

We are pleased to announce that on Wednesday, March 16th, the transition of the “A” route delivery service from the vendor – Avant to the Division of Library Development will be complete. On March 16th, all deliveries and pick-ups will be serviced by our deliverIT CT drivers. Please draw your attention to the following information:

·         Avant is expected to service “A” route libraries up until the close of business on Tuesday, March 15th. If you do not receive service it is important that you let us know.

·                 PLEASE DO NOT USE THE NEW ROUTING SLIPS AND ROUTE NUMBERS PRIOR TO MARCH 16TH, 2016. Use of new routing slips should begin after you receive your Tuesday March 15th service for all outgoing materials on March 16th.

As with any major service transition there will be a period of adjustment. However, the route schedule is not set in stone and is subject to change. During the first month or so of the deliverIT CT service we will be assessing the logistics and operational integrity of the new routes. If you have any questions or concerns about your route schedule please contact Dawn, 860-757-6665 or Walt, 860-566-1100 x306 to discuss. If you are not currently subscribed to the deliverIT CT listserv (Ccarlist) please contact Steve Cauffman 860-704-2223 for schedule and new Route Slips.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, cooperation and support during this transition period. I want to assure you that Walt and the rest of the deliverIT CT staff are committed to providing excellent service.

Thank you,
